Greg is originally from Illinois but made his way to Phoenix in 2011 to attend physical therapy school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and minor in supply Chain management and worked in the sales and logistics industry in Cincinnati, Ohio. After four years in this industry, he realized this was not his calling. After going through his own round of physical therapy following shoulder surgery, he developed a drive to help others as he was helped and returned to school to study physical therapy. In 2009, he began classes at the University of Cincinnati taking physical therapy prerequisite classes and was accepted into physical therapy school in 2011. During his time at Midwestern, he met several physical therapists that became mentors to him and steered him toward becoming a manual therapist. Manual therapy holds a special place for Greg as it is a way to directly help patients achieve their goals by correcting movements, guiding patients and enabling him to have the greatest impact he could have on his patients. After graduating, he moved to Dallas, Texas, to open two clinics with Ideal Physical Therapy where he was a part of a dynamic team that helped his clinic grow the fastest of the original five clinics in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In 2016, he moved back to the Valley of the Sun but not before meeting his future wife in Texas. Once back in Arizona, he stayed with Ideal Physical Therapy/ATI for a few more months prior to joining Barrow Brain and Spine in 2016. In 2018, he was promoted to manage the Barrow Brain and Spine Ahwatukee outpatient clinic where he guided the PT program through the recent acquisition and grew the clinic from two therapists to four in a few short years.

Throughout these experiences, he has dedicated himself to gaining as much knowledge and practice as possible in physical therapy taking approximately six continuing education classes per year with companies such as the Institute of Physical Art, the Barral Institute, the Titleist Performance Institute, the Spinal Manipulation Institute and several others. In 2018, he graduated from the Institute of Physical Art’s certification program with honors, becoming a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT). He is also certified to perform dry needling, has a nutrition certification through Precision Nutrition and certified through multiple levels of the Titleist Performance Institute.

In his spare time, Greg enjoys spending time with his growing family. He and his wife Heather welcomed their first child, Harper, into the world in late July 2020, have welcomed their second child, Cooper, in April 2022, and also have a miniature Australian Shepherd named Oliver. Greg also enjoys the outdoors and being active. He enjoys playing golf, basketball, hiking, weight training and playing guitar. Physical therapy has been a great passion in Greg’s life and he looks forward to serving you and your needs to help you achieve your potential.
